Sometimes I do get dragged into the hype. I surprised myself by reading It Ends With Us and liking it. I'm not a Colleen Hoover fan but when I saw that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni were perfectly cast in the movie adaptation I got excited.
Okay, Fourth Wing being Ali Hazelwood plus Stephenie Meyer is so spot on. I had SO many Twilight flashbacks while reading...and I think that's why I loved it so much. It's like a big hug of the early aughts fantasy book world.
Fourth Wing was actually terrible but I could not stop reading. That's the power of plot right there!!

Haha I totally get that! I think if I'd gone into it expecting more Twilight vibes, I would have liked it a lot more!
